Cool Kids

A third grade conversation in reading group today:

"Falsely attractive is like the food on Vietnam airlines. They try to make it look good, but it's not."

"Ya, in Turkey it's like that too because they try to sell designer bags, but the rhinestones just fall off."

How many countries can we mention when talking about one vocabulary word? My kids are so cool! And the best part is... traveling the world is so normal for them, part of their every day lives. I love it!

  1. Hi Kim
We are settled in Colorado and the kids are loving it. Nathan is a freshman now and I really think this is the first year is truly loves school (but we won't tell anyone). I had to laugh at your post. Reagan has a friend here that travels. As we were driving she said, "this one time, when I was in Egypt...." we all laughed. Glad to see things are going well for you. So sorry to read about your friend, we will keep her and the other hostage in our prayers! Take care and Merry Christmas.
